Meet the Jetsons

Although we would rather have my parents in town, I guess we found the next best thing......video conferencing. We bought a new laptop with a built in webcam and mic. Recently, my parents bought one for their computer. This has been really neat and not so neat at the same time. The neat part about it is that my parents get to see Wyatt and his expressions as he tells his stories. The not so neat part is that Wyatt doesn't understand why he can't hug, kiss and love on his MiMi and PaPa. After disconnecting he often cries that he wants to go to Mimi and Papa's house. He begs for this and then follows it by saying "please mommy, just five minutes."

My dad bought Wyatt a Geotrax train and showed it to him over the computer. Probably a big mistake. Wyatt constantly wants to call MiMi and Papa so that he can see his "Firetruck Geotrack with the man and remote control." He went to bed talking about it, and woke up this morning talking about it. It's quite crazy to watch my children talk and watch their grandparents on a computer. We officially feel like we are part of the Jetsons!!
