BTW

I am SOOOO behind on posts. I have posted a few recent ones, although I will be back dating much, much more. I have so much to share about our past few months. There is no excuse, but I have been extremely busy. During the spring I picked up multiple psychological evaluations for two counties. I really enjoyed working with the kids, but got very behind on writing reports. I am still behind. Over the past few month, any time I had a spare moment to get on the computer, it was to do a report.

So, long story short, when you check back in, please scroll down. I have lots to share about trips to the beach, the birth of a GIRL cousin - YES, Lauren has a GIRL (a cute one too), playdates, special moments and more!!!

UGA - 49 more days to kickoff!!!

Our family went to a kick-off yesterday for the Georgia Bulldogs. It was fun watching the kids soak in life as a bulldog!! Here is our day in pictures...

Wyatt was excited to get a few signatures on his shirt. We were hoping to get a bunch, but he decided he was done with that after three and wanted to move on to other things!!


Wyatt was a little shy about walking up to the football players, so Lauren usually made the first introduction!!
Daddy and I were not too thrilled about the ride they had. Wyatt and Lauren, however, loved it!!


Highlight of the day, was being able to play on all of the practice equipment. Lauren was able to do it all.

Afterwards, we headed downtown to the arches. We had to stop at every bulldog and take a picture on our way.



Last stop.....dinner at (I'm completely drawing a blank). We tried to go to DePalmas, but changed our mind when Wyatt said, "I am just SOOO tired" as we waited for a table. We wanted to actually enjoy our dinner.

What a fun day!! Wyatt and Lauren had their one of many lessons on how to be a bulldog.

Lauren was immediately back to her dolls, purses and sunglasses as soon as she got in the car.

The 4th of July

The fourth of July is a day that we celebrate the independence of our country, the United States of America. As Wyatt puts it, it is America's birthday and America sure can throw a fun birthday party!! Our family celebrated America's birthday in St. Simons this year. This was the first year we went to my parents house in a VERY long time. We had so much fun there, I think it might be our new tradition. It's definitely fun to be at the beach during the 4th. After spending the day at the beach, we had a great dinner with my family. Afterwards, we headed to the pool by the pier and swam until minutes before the fireworks exploded!!

This was Lauren's first year to see the fireworks and she loved them. After every one she would say, "MiMi, see??" "Mommy, see?" "WyWy, see?" "Daddy, see?" If you didn't respond, she would come to your face and ask you again. I'm sure everyone around us was tired of hearing a one year old ask at the top of her lungs if everyone saw the fireworks. It was really quite cute!!

Let us never forget the true meaning of the Fourth of July and what it means for our amazing country and the freedom we are afforded here in America. We are truly all so blessed.
