Chattanooga trip to see Thomas

Our family had plans to go with other family members to see Thomas the Train in Chattanooga. We were excited about our plans until Lauren woke up that morning running a 103 + temperature. Unfortunately, instead of heading to Nashville, Lauren and I headed to the doctor's office. Wyatt and Nathan, however, jumped in the car and drove to Chattanooga to meet Thomas. I don't have many details to give of the day since I was not there. I do know though that they had LOTS of fun. Wyatt got to go with his Nonna, Aunt Kriya, Uncle Beau and his cousins Wade and Cae. Here are a few pictures from the day. Nathan didn't take a camera, so I had to steal these from Aunt Kriya's blog!!

More Baseball

Everytime we go to St. Simmons, we usually go to watch some sort of sporting event. My brother has two children, and they are both sports maniacs. They each play baseball, basketball and soccer. Grant was named one of the top players on the league in soccer, and it's really quite amazing to watch him take the ball down the field. In one game we watched, he made 6 goals. It's actually quite crazy. On our trip this weekend, baseball was the sport. So, of course, we were at the baseball fields. Wyatt immediately joined in on the game, and Lauren perfected her baby sister moves. She insisted on sitting in the dougout during the practice. She looked like such a princess trying to put on her lipstick while cheering for the boys!!

Wyatt tapping the plate before his big hit. And, then of course, the hit!! The kid hardly ever misses!! :)

Wyatt has been waiting for the day that PaPa could play baseball again. He had knee replacement surgery in January, but can now "run the bases."

Easter Pics

Here are several pics of the kiddos in their Easter outfits. They had a blast running around, and I just tried to take as many shots as I could.

Easter 2010

Nathan and I headed to the beach for Easter weekend. Usually, at Easter, we stay in Atlanta. This Easter, however,we decided to change it up a little. We had a great weekend. Our weekend was filled with beach, swimming, easter egg hunts, visits from the Easter Bunny and just family fun. Easter morning started with a visit from the Easter Bunny, followed by an Easter Egg hunt. Afterwards, we headed to the King and Prince Resort for brunch and then day at the beach.

Waiting for our table at the King and Prince. Sometimes I feel like Wyatt and Lauren are getting so big, until I see a picture like this.

Lauren's new thing is to cross her arms. She loves to do it!!

Lauren was not real excited about pictures, as you can see.
Nathan and I had some of our wedding shots on this bench, so we couldn't resist getting one with our kiddos. Life sure has change during our 7 (almost 8) years of marriage.
