Our Little Doctors

After many years of consideration, my dad finally had knee replacement surgery and we headed to Saint Simmons to help out during the recovery! I say help out, but we probably caused more havoc than relief. Having a three year old and one year is not exactly peaceful. It did, however, bring a smile to my dad's face, and despite the chaos, he seemed very happy to see the kiddos. Besides, Wyatt does have my dad wrapped around his finger. If Wyatt told my dad to jump, he would reply, "how high?" As Lauren is becoming her own little person, I am watching her gain the same control!! Any time Wyatt wants something and we say no, he asks for us to call PaPa. One time Wyatt said, I need a stool like Thomas'. The result, dad went to Lowe's, bought wood and made a step stool for Wyatt. Wyatt has mentioned wanting a fort. Well, dad drew this elaborate picture of what Wyatt's future tree house will look like. He even went to Lowe's again to map out exactly how much it would cost. It's scheduled to be built as soon as dad is fully recovered. Well, dad, what can we say. We love you lots and are so thankful for your successful surgery. Get ready to play some baseball. According to Wyatt, you will now be able to run the bases with him when you guys play baseball!!
