Reuters' Family Fun: Baby Girl is 13 months

Again, I can not believe it. We are already one month in to Lauren's second year of life!!! Our precious little girl is so much fun right now. She is adding words weekly, walking, climbing, playing and mimicing everything!!!! She loves to talk on the phone. She picks it up, tucks it between her chin and shoulder and says, "Hi." She still LOVES Wyatt on most days!! :) They have definitely perfected the screaming at each other.....something I really didn't think I would experience until she was 2 or so. She loves the playground. She climbs up the stairs, walks straight to the slide and sits to go down. It's as if she has been walking for months and months. Not only is she adding words, but she is modifying her old words. For example, "DaDa" is now "Dad-dy" and "Da" (dog) is now "Dog-gy." Every day she shocks us with the words she attempts. Yesterday she attempted Thank You (it actually sounded pretty good), and she screamed ChooChoo when a train went by our neighborhood park. Both words we didn't know she knew. She is still as lovable as always, and loves to snuggle and share kisses. She is also still very social. She loves to wave to everyone and to carry on a babbling conversation with anyone who will listen.

Now that Lauren can walk, she thinks she should be running....
