I just realized that I forgot to do an update for Lauren when she turned 10 months!! 10 months! What?? I can't believe it. Actually, now, she is 10 1/2 months. Time is just flying by. I wish I could slow it down, but I can't so I am just trying to enjoy it!!
Lauren is still a very sweet, good baby. She is definitely getting more of a personality each day, and can be feisty if she needs to be. Since turning 9 months, she has stopped sucking her thumb. This was a result of a bad cut she got on her thumb. At first I was a little nervous because it helped her to fall asleep easily, but she seems to have adjusted well.
Lauren smiles and laughs all of the time, and loves to be around people. She does not like to get in the carseat and wears me out every time I put her in. She has added another word to her vocabulary...Nonna. She said it while at Fripp, but we were unsure if she knew what it meant. Since we got home, however, she has demonstrated that she knows what it means. She definitely knows Nathan's mom is Nonna. So now we hear a lot of Da (Dog), Momma, Dada and Nonna. If you ask a question, she will often say "yea." She doesn't know what it means, but she says it. Wyatt thinks it's funny. He often thinks she is answering him.
She is definitely a lover. She loves to snuggle, blow kisses, and wave if you say hi or bye. She walks if holding on to something and loves to get into things. She is not the neatest eater (much messier than Wyatt ever was) and loves to try anything. If she doesn't like it, watch out!! She will motor boat it right back at you!! She hates for me to shower and stands at the door and cries every time I get in. She loves music and will dance to anything or anyone carrying a tune.
I'll share more updated photos on her 11 month birthday....just a few weeks away!!!
