Here is a picture of our crew right before loading up in the car for our ride home today!! I have to admit, I do get a little exhausted just looking at the picture! :)
I know our camp leaders, MiMi & PaPa, are also exhausted. MiMi & PaPa, I know we were wild and crazy, but thanks for having us!!
Prior to the arrival of my nephews, I was a little, well very, spoiled. I rarely get to watch movies and I have been wanting to get a haircut for a while now. While down there, I watched 3 movies (that's unheard of), got a haircut, caught up on some Hollywood gossip, and slept in past 7AM on several mornings. Yes, I can't believe it, but I got to read magazines and not only did I get to watch movies, but I went to a movie at the theatre with my brother and niece. THANKS MOM & DAD!!! When in SSI, Wyatt loves to sleep with his MiMi & PaPa. With that said, that means I get a little more time to myself at night. Once I get Lauren down, I'm free!! It feels weird, but is also a nice break. I'm interested to see how tonight goes though. Wyatt has also been spoiled. I'm sure he is going to ask to watch TV when he goes to bed. That's what he does with my dad. We will see!!!
Trips with a potty trained boy adds some additional time. We had to make 3 extra stops on our way home today. One was a desperate stop, and he ended up going in the "woods." Not really in the woods (just the grass right next to the road), but that's what he is telling everyone. I'm so proud of him. No accidents.
Although we had so much fun at the beach, we were all excited to get home to Nathan tonight. I wish everyone could have seen the excitement in both Lauren and Wyatt's eyes when they saw him. We basically had a huge hug fest!! As I type this, Wyatt is chilling on the couch in daddy's arms while watching the Braves. Too sweet!!!
Reunited.......
