The Mind of a Two Year Old

I could fill pages and pages of this blog with funny Wyatt stories. The mind of a two year old is pretty funny!!! I'm sure it gets even better as they grow older.

Last weekend, Wyatt cuddled with Nathan on the couch and watched Ratatouille. Well, the movie must have had an impact because on Tuesday when I was cooking I kept hearing him say, "Mommy, Wy-Wy keep the animals out." He repeated it over and over again. I just replied with "okay" and kept cooking. When I stopped chopping veggies, I looked down and he had taken mops and brooms from the pantry and blocked in the kitchen. He then informed me that he was keeping the rats out of the kitchen while I cooked. He was so sincere. It was pretty funny. Below are some pictures of his "mouse trap."

The movie definitely has had him thinking because this morning he informed Nathan and I that a mouse was in his room last night. He then pointed to his ear and said, "the mouse nibbled my ear."

This morning Wyatt asked his teddy bear, "Do you want to eat?" It must have been hungry because he started to nurse him a few seconds later. Earlier this week he was pumping.

The mind of a two year old is an interesting thing!!!
